Why do I need to upload the N27 file?

• The N27 file is required to generate an Expansion Pack customized for your specific Yamaha keyboard model. Without this file, we cannot generate the pack correctly, as we do not offer the PPF format. Our Expansion Packs come in the following formats: PQI, PPI, CQI, CPI, and CPF, all of which require the N27 file. By default, your pack will include PPI and CPF files. However if you need any additional formats, please contact us.

Is it safe to provide my N27 Instrument Info File?

• Absolutely! The N27 file does not contain any personal or confidential information. It is purely a technical file required to generate an Expansion Pack that matches your specific Yamaha keyboard model.

When will I receive my Expansion Pack after uploading the N27 file?

• Once we receive your N27 file, we will process your order and send the download link to your email within a few working hours.

Do I need to upload the N27 file for all products I ordered?

• No. The N27 file is required only for Expansion Packs purchases. If you purchase Styles or other products, you will receive your download link automatically, no form or N27 file upload is required if you purchased styles or other products.

Do I need to upload the N27 file every time I purchase a new Expansion Pack?

• No. You only need to upload the N27 file from your Yamaha keyboard once with your first order. After that, the file will be securely linked to your PsrStyles account, and we can use it to generate any future Expansion Packs for you.
• However, if you change your keyboard model, you will need to upload a new N27 file. This ensures that both your previously purchased and any new Expansion Packs are generated correctly for your new keyboard.

What happens if I upload the wrong N27 file?

• If the file does not match your keyboard, the Expansion Pack will not work. Please ensure you export the N27 file directly from the keyboard you plan to use. If you made a mistake, simply resubmit the form with the correct file.

Which Yamaha keyboards support Expansion Packs?

• Expansion Packs are supported by Yamaha keyboards with Yamaha Expansion Manager (YEM) compatibility, such as Genos, PSR-SX series, PSR-S series, and Tyros 5. If you are unsure whether your keyboard is compatible, please contact us.

I purchased an Expansion Pack, but I own multiple Yamaha keyboards. Can I use it on all of them?

• Yes! If you have multiple Yamaha keyboards that support the N27 file, you can upload the N27 file for each keyboard, and we will generate Expansion Packs for all of them.
• You don’t need to purchase the same Expansion Pack more than once, your purchase allows you to use it across all of your Yamaha keyboards.

How will I receive my download link?

• Your download link will be sent to the email address you used during checkout. Please make sure you enter your email correctly when placing your order and submiting this form.

What happens if I don’t send or upload the N27 file?

• If an N27 Info File is required, we cannot generate an Expansion Pack for your keyboard without it. Please ensure you export the file from your yamaha keyboard and submit it with the form before or after completing your order. Without the N27 file, your Expansion Pack cannot be delivered.
